📋 INGREDIENTS (for about 10):
🥢 1/4 head of Chinese cabbage (or regular white cabbage – available at Biedronka/Lidl)
🥕 1 large carrot, grated
🫑 1/2 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
🧅 1 small onion, thinly sliced
🥚 2 eggs
🧄 2 garlic cloves, pressed
🧂 Salt, pepper, soy sauce to taste
🥣 Rapeseed oil for frying
🍚 Rice paper (available in larger supermarkets in the world cuisine section)
👩🍳 PREPARATION:
1️⃣ In a pan, sauté the onion, garlic, cabbage, carrots, and bell pepper. Sauté everything together for a few minutes until the vegetables are slightly softened.
2️⃣ Add the eggs and stir until combined – this will create a delicious eggy vegetable mixture! Season to taste with salt, pepper, and a dash of soy sauce. 🌶️
3️⃣ Briefly soak the rice paper in lukewarm water. Place a spoonful of the filling in the center of each sheet and roll them up like cabbage rolls or tortillas. 🌯
4️⃣ Fry the spring rolls in hot oil until golden brown on all sides. They should be crispy and golden brown! 😍
💡 TIP: Want a healthy version? Bake the spring rolls in the oven at 200°C for 20 minutes! 🔥
