5 large potatoes 🥔
1/2 cup milk 🥛
2 tablespoons butter 🧈
1/2 cup grated yellow cheese 🧀 (e.g., Gouda, Cheddar)
2 eggs 🥚
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour 🌾
1/2 teaspoon salt 🧂
1/2 teaspoon pepper 🌶️
1/2 teaspoon granulated garlic 🧄
1 tablespoon chopped chives 🌿 (optional)
👩🍳 Preparation:
1️⃣ Cooking the potatoes
✔️ Peel the potatoes and cook in salted water until tender.
✔️ Drain and mash into a smooth puree. 2️⃣ Preparing the batter
✔️ Add the milk, butter, eggs, and flour to the puree.
✔️ Add the cheese, salt, pepper, and garlic, and mix thoroughly.
3️⃣ Shaping and baking
✔️ Transfer the batter to a muffin tin or a parchment-lined baking pan and smooth out the top.
✔️ Sprinkle with additional cheese on top. 🧀
✔️ Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 25-30 minutes, until golden and crispy.
4️⃣ Serving
